纽约 Whitney Museum 将于年底举办 Andy Warhol 大型回顾展
「Andy Warhol: From A to Be and Back Again」
纽约 Whitney Museum of American Art 将于今年年底开设名为「Andy Warhol: From A to Be and Back Again」的专题展览，对波普艺术大师 Andy Warhol 的艺术生涯进行完整的回顾。这将是自 1989 年起在美国境内举办的首个 Warhol 大型回顾展，届时馆内的三层空间将被用于展出共 200 幅 Warhol 的作品，其中除了极具标志性的绢印版画《Marilyn Diptych》和广为人知《Green Coca Cola Bottles》，还将涵盖不少从未面世的实验性作品，如 Warhol 于 70 年代以有机玻璃打造的极简透明盒子。博物馆的资深策展人 Donna De Salvo 向 Artnet 保证：「观者将有机会看到 Warhol 在成为人们所熟知的 Warhol 之前的作品。」
大型回顾展将从 11 月 12 日起向公众开放，直至 2019 年 3 月 31 日。随后「Andy Warhol: From A to Be and Back Again」将先后于 San Francisco Museum of Modern Art 及 Art Institute of Chicago 展出。
