《13 Months of Sunshine》回味浪漫、旅行与闪耀事物，初听便洋溢欢快氛围，带听众沉浸于过往夏日的怀旧情怀。开场曲《New Flower!》（与 Leon Thomas 合作）让 Aminé 回溯起点，细数他的奋斗历程——「Complex wasn’t really paying me sh*t / Def Jam had me getting sandwiches / Got one for Big Sean but at least he tipped」，他在歌词中幽默吐露，为俏皮挑逗的《Feels So Good》铺陈情绪。
