虽说早前有网民发现到在 Google 搜寻栏中，只要输入「Famous Hugh Jackman Movie」，便会显示到 Hugh Jackman 与《Avengers: Endgame》有着关联，其后他本人在发布的一段健身影片上，标签了「cameo」一字，再次引起网民讨论；同时 Keanu Reeves 亦曾透露有兴趣接任 Hugh Jackman「狼人」一角。而最新的消息，竟然是 Marvel Studios 有意找位年轻演员参演 Wolverine，而出现在大家眼前的，是饰演「哈利波特」的 Daniel Radcliffe。那边厢他才谈论《Harry Potter》系列电影 Reboot 的可能性，这边他在电影宣传访谈上，便投下一个玩笑：
There’s going to be a new Wolverine movie in which it starts off with Hugh Jackman being put into a hot wash, and then when he comes out, it’s me. So, yes. I’m very happy to announce that here.
