Quentin Tarantino 回应 Uma Thurman 对 Harvey Weinstein 的性侵指控
「那是我人生中最大的遗憾。」

日前,荷里活女星 Uma Thurman 在接受《纽约时报》访问时,公开了自己曾遭 Harvey Weinstein 企图性侵的可怕遭遇,更透露自己曾在电影《Kill Bill》拍摄期间向导演 Quentin Tarantino 透露此事。虽然 Tarantino 曾就事件代 Thurman 向 Weinstein 对质,可她亦没有因此放下制作团队在拍摄期间因疏忽而导致其遇上车祸一事。面对 Thurman 的指控,Tarantino 亦终为事件开腔回应:
“I’m sure when it was brought up to me, that I rolled my eyes and was irritated. But I’m sure I wasn’t in a rage and I wasn’t livid. Again, that is one of the biggest regrets of my life. As a director, you learn things and sometimes you learn them through horrendous mistakes.”
他坦承自己在电影《Kill Bill》拍摄期间的疏忽而导致意外发生,并为自己的冷眼回应感到懊悔,但则强调自己当时的情绪并没有失控。他更表示人们偶尔亦需要在错误中学习,那次意外是其人生中最后悔的事情之一。
至于 Harvey Weinstein 的性侵指控,他则表示:
“When he tried to wriggle out of it, and how things actually happened, I never bought his story. I said, I don’t believe you. I believe her. And if you want to do Kill Bill, you need to make this right.”
当 Tarantino 向 Weinstein 当面对质时,他表示 Weinstein 为自己辩护的藉口并没有让其信服。他更向 Weinstein 表明若其希望《Kill Bill》能顺利完成拍摄的话,便应安守自己的本份。事后,Thurman 亦于 Instagram 再次为《Kill Bill》拍摄期间所发生的车祸作出回应,并指责 Weinstein 及 CAA 毁灭相关证据与隐瞒事实真相,但则表明 Tarantino 与事件无关。
