为何 Josh Brolin 能一人分饰《Avengers》终极奸角与《Deadpool 2》X-Force 成员
另外《Deadpool 2》的 Cable 是为了将来的 X-Force 电影系列作铺陈？
自从知道于《Guardians of the Galaxy》、《Avengers》电影中担任超级反派 Thanos 一角的 Josh Brolin，将同时于《Deadpool 2》中饰演超级英雄 Cable 后，大家都一直好奇为何他被允许同时演出两个 Marvel 角色（而且《Deadpool》电影系列是属于 Fox 的出品），日前《Deadpool 2》的导演 David Leitch 终于为这疑问作出了解释 :
I think everybody in sort of the Marvel and Fox world considered it, and they take their time and make measured moves. But I think everyone thought it was prudent and was okay in terms of the way Thanos is portrayed and Cable is portrayed. They’re very different in styles, and in terms of the way they are presented in the movies, obviously. We couldn’t have cast a better Cable. We were filming last night and both of them were on set, and the chemistry is amazing. It’s such a fun movie to be on. I’m really grateful.
David Leitch 表示 Fox 跟 Marvel 双方经过认真考虑后，认为 Cable 跟 Thanos 两个角色的风格非常不同，而且他们找不到比 Josh Brolin 更合适的人选。其实他们最首要的考虑是，到底 Josh Brolin 一人演出两角会否有可能令观众混淆，而事实上，他饰演 Cable 时是直接于脸上涂上特技化妆，这有别于演出 Thanos 时采用动态捕捉技术呈现角色的做法，所以无论在外型和演出风格方面，都是截然不同，不会令观众觉得混乱。
在原著漫画中，Cable 是 X-Men 核心成员镭射眼（Cyclops）跟 Jean Grey（Phoenix）的复制人 Madelyne Pryor 所生的儿子，能使用心灵感应与念力，后来成为 X-Men 分支团队 X-Force 的成员，在 Deadpool 一次执行雇佣兵任务时互相认识。而在接下来的《Deadpool 2》电影故事里，导演 David Leitch 曾透露 Cable 将扮演著十分重要的角色。
此外，其实数月前就已经传出过《Deadpool 2》是为了将来 X-Force 电影系列作铺陈的说法，所以作为 X-Force 重要成员的 Cable，在往后或会显得更举足轻重。
