Hypebeast Brings Its Global Archive Exhibition to Seoul, Celebrating Two Decades of Driving Culture Forward

Hypebeast, the leading global platform for contemporary culture and lifestyle, announces the opening of the Hypebeast 20th Anniversary Exhibition in Seoul. Co-organized with Lotte Department Store, this event runs from March 13 to April 16, 2026, at the Lotte Avenuel Jamsil Art Hall, marking the latest stop in the platform’s global anniversary tour.

For 20 years, Hypebeast has been dedicated to documenting the evolution of contemporary culture and streetwear. The Seoul exhibition offers a physical look at this two-decade history, presenting an archival space that highlights pivotal print magazine materials, records of landmark collaboration projects, and the recently released Hypebeast Magazine Issue 36: The Platinum Issue.

As part of the global tour, the space features the commemorative 20-piece T-shirt collection, created in collaboration with brands and designers who have been integral to Hypebeast’s narrative. The collaborative lineup includes Supreme, KAWS x Human Made, the Virgil Abloh Archive, Fragment Design, BAPE, AMBUSH, Undercover, Takashi Murakami, Acronym, PEACEMINUSONE, Verdy, Neighborhood, and Post Archive Faction (PAF). These pieces are available for purchase at the venue and globally via HBX.

Adding a localized perspective exclusive to the Seoul stop, Hypebeast has partnered with Korean artist Surin to unveil a limited-edition object. The collaborative project is designed to bridge Seoul’s local creative scene with Hypebeast’s global identity, offering a unique element specific to this leg of the tour.

The Hypebeast 20th Anniversary Exhibition is not only a celebration of the past twenty years but a testament to the community, creators, and visionaries who continue to dictate the future of contemporary culture.
