Ms. Poon Lai King, was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company on 18 March 2016. Ms. Poon is the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit Committee and Nomination Committee of the Company. She has over 21 years of experience in the publishing and media industry, and since September 2007, she has been the shareholder and director of Joyful Books Company Limited, a company that publishes Chinese books in Hong Kong. Ms. Poon commenced operating a public relations and event management business under the business name, Impact Communications Company in 2012. She served as an arts consultant for the Hong Kong Arts Development Council from January 2013 until the end of March 2017. Ms. Poon obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in November 1985 and a Master of Arts degree in November 1991 from the University of Hong Kong.
